Do you need face replacement or video editing?
For this trend, the important distinction is what you already have. If you have two portrait photos and want the two people to perform the basketball move, you need a workflow that generates those players in the scene. If your personalized clip is already finished, an editor can add sound, captions and cuts.
| Your starting point | What you need |
|---|---|
| Two photos of you and a friend | A two-person AI video workflow with attacker and defender roles. |
| A finished basketball MP4 | A video editor for music, text, trimming and export. |
| A template link from a tutorial | Open its preview and check its required media and actual result. |
Our example shows the input photos and the actual AI remake. Dunk on You creates the two-person video in the browser. It does not distribute a CapCut project or require a CapCut subscription.
How to check a Middle Finger Dunk template
A title or thumbnail does not show the whole sequence. Play the preview and look for the move you recognize: the night-court face-off, airborne split and taunt, back-facing shot and ending. Then check whether the template asks for two photos, one photo or an existing video.
Match the motion
Compare the full preview with the version you want. A standard slam dunk, a clean shoulder-brush taunt and the nine-second middle-finger version are different results.
Check the photo slots
To cast both people, the workflow needs to distinguish the attacker from the defender. A template that accepts a finished MP4 is editing footage you already have.
Check what is included before starting
Look at the output preview, sound, duration and any generation or export price displayed by the service. On this site, the price is $9.90 for one personalized video, including the two-person preview and download.
CapCut’s official template guide describes opening a template, replacing its media and exporting the edit. The exact controls and requirements depend on the selected template.
Add music to your basketball MP4 in CapCut
Our current remake is silent, so you can choose the sound separately. Once the MP4 is saved on your device:
Import your video
Create a project, import the MP4 and add it to the timeline. You can use the free existing sample to practice the editing steps before buying a personalized remake.
Add your sound
Use Audio to select a track, or import audio you have permission to use. Align the sound with the jump or the final taunt, then trim it to the clip’s length.
Play the complete edit
Check that the sound starts where you expect and ends cleanly. Leave the ball, both faces and the hand gesture visible if you add a caption.
The import, audio and export steps follow CapCut’s official add-audio guide. No specific song is bundled with our video.
Download and keep the vertical version
Keep the original portrait frame when editing. A tight crop can cut off the jumping player or the defender. Review the airborne moment and the closing close-up before exporting your MP4.
For a short caption, “My prime 1v1” or “You’re in the second photo” explains the joke without covering the action. Present the result as an AI remake when you share it. Save the downloaded original too, so you can make another edit later.
Your personalized result remains available on this site for seven days. Download it to your device rather than relying on the website link as permanent storage.
CapCut and basketball template questions
Where is the CapCut template link?
This page explains how to choose the right kind of template and edit your finished video. Our two-photo generator produces an MP4 directly, not a CapCut template link.
Can I make the Middle Finger Dunk video without CapCut?
Yes. Make the personalized video here, approve both players in the preview and download the result. CapCut is optional for adding music or captions afterward.
Is there a free sample?
Yes. Watch or download the existing example without payment. A new video starring your own two people costs $9.90; there is no subscription on this site.
Is “My Prime 1v1” the same template?
It is another name used around the basketball trend. Match the full sample rather than the name alone: different remakes use different motions and endings. Our version is the nine-second sequence shown above.
Can I use my phone?
Yes. Generate and download the MP4 through your browser, then open the saved file in your preferred mobile editor. You can also keep the silent version as delivered.
